What is Password Boss?

  Password Boss employs RC4 encryption with a 2048-bit key. Additional encryption methods are loadable as plug-ins. Unlike most competitors, Password Boss uses the master password to encrypt your password file data, not just to manage access to it. This is why program's password files can not be decrypted without the master password.
• Powerful password generator
  The built-in password generator allows you to create passwords of any complexity. You can create up to 255 custom generation categories for every password file, manage the password length and symbol probability, as well as choose between random and mask-driven generation.
• Mobility
  Password Boss does not require installation and can run from removable media. The mobility wizard can assist you in moving the program and accounts.
• Data synchronization means
  The synchronization wizard allows you to merge data from different password files, which is useful when working with a mobile copy of the program.
• Attaching files up to 16 megabytes to records
  Password Boss allows you to attach a file to any of the password file's records. The files size is limited to 16 megabytes. The attachment is incorporated into the password file and can be saved back to disk at any time. The encryption of the attachment is optional. Disabling encryption improves speed for large files.
• Record templates
  Every group has its own customizable template. A new record in a group is automatically filled using the group's template. This makes creating similar records easier.
• Add up to 255 fields to each record
  You can add up to 255 custom fields to every record. Each of them may be a text field, a link, or a password. Text fields store additional text information. Links can be used to reference web pages, local programs and documents, downloads, e-mail addresses, etc. Password fields store additional passwords.
• Drag&Drop support
  You can easily group and move groups and records, copy fields and sort password generation categories.
